Privacy policy

Short, and specific. If something here is vague it is because we do not do it, not because we are hiding it.

Last updated: 30 September 2026.

Autotrader4u is operated by Slantaxiom Private Limited (CIN U62013TS2025PTC202628), registered office Sy No. 11, WeWork Krishe Emerald, Kondapur, Cyberabad, Shaikpet, Hyderabad, Telangana 500081, India. For anything on this page, write to support@autotrader4u.com.

What we collect

  • Your email address. It is your account. We use it to send you the six-digit sign-in codes and to tell you about your own box.
  • A mobile number, if you give us one. Optional, and only to reach you about your own account.
  • A Telegram chat id, if you connect Telegram. So your box can message you about fills and refusals, and so you can stop it from your phone.
  • Subscription status. Whether your subscription is current, and until when. When payments open, that status comes from our payment provider. We never see or store your card details.
  • Usage counts. Each time your box asks us to interpret a strategy we record the time, how many characters you sent, how many strategies came back, and an estimated cost. We record the COUNT, not the text.
  • Security records. An append-only log of account events - sign-ins, changes to your account, admin actions - which can include the IP address the request came from. It is there so that we can answer “who changed this, and when”.

What we do not collect

  • Your broker credentials. Your Kite API key, secret and access token live on your box, not in our account service, and we cannot place a trade in your account from there. One exception you should know about: when you leave, your box’s disk is kept for 30 days before it is deleted (see below), and for those 30 days it still holds them. That is why we ask you to delete your Kite Connect app when you leave - a deleted app makes that copy worthless.
  • Your positions, orders or P&L. Those stay on your box, in a database on that machine - and in that database’s backups, each of which is deleted 90 days after it is taken. When you leave, the disk and the backups that remain are kept for 30 days, then deleted.
  • The text of your strategy. See below - it passes through our account service, which does not keep it. Your box keeps it, in its own database.
  • Anything for advertising. This site loads no analytics, no tracking pixel, no third-party font and no tag manager. It sets no cookies. It is a set of static files and the one call it makes is to our own account service.

Your strategy text, specifically

When you write a strategy in English, your box sends that text to our service, which passes it to our model provider (Anthropic) to be turned into a structured strategy your box can run. It is used for that and nothing else. What our service stores afterwards is the character count and the number of strategies produced, not the words. Your box does keep the words, in its own database, so they are in your box’s backups too, for as long as those are kept (below). The interpretation happens outside India, on Anthropic’s infrastructure; everything else described here is stored in Amazon Web Services in Mumbai (ap-south-1).

This is also the only moment anything you type leaves your box. Once a strategy is confirmed, the machine that watches the market and places the order makes no call to us at all.

How your sign-in works

There is no password. You give an email address, we email a six-digit code, and the code is good for 5 minutes and one use. Signing in gives this browser tab a token that lasts 15 days at most. It is kept in your browser’s session storage, which the browser deletes when you close the tab; it is not a cookie and it is not shared with any other site.

How long we keep things

  • Sign-in codes: they work for 5 minutes. The record of one (a one-way hash of the code, never the code itself, and the address it was sent to) is deleted automatically within a few days.
  • A signed-in session: 15 days at most.
  • Your account record, your usage counts and the access tokens your box uses to reach us: for as long as you have an account. When your account is closed, they are deleted 30 days after it closes. The deletion runs by itself once a day; nobody has to remember it.
  • Billing records and the security log: 5 years from the day each record was written, because tax and audit rules need them, then they are deleted automatically. The security log never holds your email address in readable form, only a one-way fingerprint of it, and the deletion of a closed account is recorded under its internal account number alone. It does keep your box’s name (the short name in its web address) for those 5 years, because account and sign-in events record which box they were for.
  • Our service’s request logs: 30 days, then they are deleted automatically.
  • Backups of our own database: after we delete something, it can survive in Amazon’s point-in-time recovery backups for up to 35 days, then it is gone from those too.
  • Backups of your box’s database: each one 90 days, then it is deleted automatically.
  • Your box itself, when you leave: we shut it down, and keep its disk and its backup folder for 30 days in case you change your mind or need something from it, then delete both.

Who else sees it

Our infrastructure providers, and only as the plumbing under this service: Amazon Web Services (hosting and email delivery), Anthropic (interpreting your strategy text), Telegram (only if you connect it), and our payment provider (only once payments open, and only for subscription status). We do not sell anything to anybody, and we do not share your data for anybody else’s marketing.

What you can ask for

A copy of what we hold, a correction, or deletion of your account and the records that go with it. Write to support@autotrader4u.com from the address on the account. When you ask us to delete your account, we close it - from then on it cannot sign in - and revoke the access tokens your box uses to reach us, and its account record, usage counts and those tokens are deleted 30 days after it closed. Billing records and the security log are the exception: we keep them 5 years, as above. Your box, its disk and its backups follow the 30-day rule above.
